Big News!
We
have exciting news to share! AAFA-STL recently received a generous
donation of $50,000, which will help launch the healthy homes expansion
component of our flagship program, Project Concern (adding 12 months of
asthma education and support, along with in-home assessments for newly
enrolled clients), in addition to supporting our government relations
representative and advocacy work. We are thrilled and cannot wait to
launch these initiatives, all in the name of improving asthma care for
our clients, and beyond!

Installation Ceremony for Dr. Wedner
Through the generous support of local philanthropists Dr.
Jess and Mrs. Alice Yawitz, an endowed Professorship for the Division of
Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the Washington University School of Medicine
was created in honor of Dr. Phillip and Mrs. Arleen Korenblat. We are fortunate that our Board President, Dr.
H. James Wedner, will be the first recipient of this distinction as Division
Chair. The Installation Ceremony took
place on June 6 at Washington University.
